Dan will discuss how wide vs. narrow swath affect forage quality and drying time, how to get low ash content, the use of preservatives for hay and inoculants for silage and much, much more.  Dr. Undersander is a leading expert in alfalfa and hay production for high quality feeding.  Dr. Dan Undersander is a research/extension scientist who conducts statewide research and educational programs to improve production and utilization of all forages.
