Informative Workshops in Winnipeg & Brandon – Nov 2017:

Workshops were provided in Brandon and in two Winnipeg locations, with more than 120 in attendance, to provide a forum for stakeholders and media on how the MFGA Aquanty Project is progressing, answering questions and reinforcing the importance of water management and wise land use. Those in attendance included key reps from AGri Risk, AAFC, Mb Ag, Mb SD, Mb I, DUC, NCC, MBP, KAP, UofM, ACC, and Manitoba conservation (watershed) districts.

Assiniboine Birdtail Tour – June 2017:

The five MFGA Aquanty Project partner groups hosted a tour of agriculture and conservation interests to approximately 80 delegates and media in Russell, Manitoba in order to bring messages and examples of water management, wise land use planning, economic prosperity and environmental synergies on agricultural lands.
