About MFGA’s Hay Relief Page
As a result of challenging weather and growing seasons that producers have faced over the last years, MFGA has launched this Hay Relief page to assist Manitoba forage and livestock producers in finding information and sources to help cope with and plan for challenging times on the livestock feed front.
MFGA suggests the Manitoba Hay Listing Service as one resource as well as calling the Manitoba Agriculture staff at 1-84-GROW-MB-AG (1-844-769-6224). See the Manitoba Hay Listing section below.
MFGA Reports
MFGA posts reports at regular intervals here which will include producer anecdotes, the hay price situation and provincial crop reports.

Some producers may be looking for relief to help carry their herds over winter. MFGA suggests the Manitoba Hay Listing Service as one resource as well as calling the Manitoba Agriculture staff at 1-84-GROW-MB-AG (1-844-769-6224). Leave a message and they will respond within 30 minutes. Producers can have their feed or pasture available listed here as well. The staff who answer the toll free line will take the details and have the information uploaded to the web page.
Additional sources listed below. If you have a source that we have not included, please provide. As well, if you post hay for sale on facebook or twitter, tag MFGA on social media, and we will retweet/repost.
