11th Annual CFGA Conference is going online!
Nov. 18-19, 2020
Registration is now open for the Canadian Forage and Grassland Association 11th annual conference, Vision 2020, Growing Forage Opportunities.
The 2020 conference, Nov. 18 and 19, 2020, will be a virtual event due to the pandemic, yet still packed with plenty of learning opportunities for Canadian forage producers, researchers and industry representatives.
The foundational cornerstone remains in British Columbia, where the conference was intended to be in 2020, and broadens to include valuable information and inspiration for forage producers across the country.
Industry leaders will bring the Canadian Forage School to life when they speak on topics such as forage fertility, weed control, harvesting, data management, storage and more.
Steve Kenyon of Busby, Alta., owns Greener Pastures Ranching, a 1,400-head custom grazing operation. Kenyon will share his regenerative-grazing management experience which allows him to pasture cattle year-round.
Dr. Dwayne Beck, research manager of Dakota Lakes Research Farm in Pierre, SD, and a professor of agronomy, horticulture and plant science at South Dakota State University, will also speak at the CFGA conference in November. Beck will speak about the importance of using an integrated approach to soil health.
The complete agenda is on the CFGA conference website. Please note, all sessions take place at Pacific Standard Time.
There are two registration levels for this event:
Standard registration, $150 + taxes and fees, offers full conference access at the time of the event and to session recordings for two weeks following the end of the event.
VIP registration, $300 + taxes and fees, includes full conference access at the time of the event and exclusive access to conference recordings for a full year following the end of the event.
Both registration levels provide access to the conference, the Q&A sessions, panel discussions, trade show and networking opportunities at the time of the event. It's a win-win-win opportunity! Register here for the conference .
