MBFI Webinar - Nov 3, 2021, 8pm CDT

Attend the Manitoba Beef & Forage Initiative (MBFI) webinar which will discuss the results of the Prairie 2020 cover crop survey which will put cover crops into context for Prairie farmers and industry stakeholders. The survey heard from 281 farms who grew over 100,000 acres of cover crops, providing details of their agronomy, their challenges, and the benefits they have seen. 37% of respondents were from Manitoba, 32% from Saskatchewan, and 31% from Alberta. 36% of respondents grew perennial forage, alfalfa (26%) and annual forage (24%).
