The 2nd annual Manitoba Sustainable Protein Research Symposium hosted by the University of Manitoba, Manitoba Agriculture and the Manitoba Industry-Academia Partnership will be held virtually June 7-9, 2022. An optional in-person networking event will be held in the evening of June 6, 2022.
Featured speakers include Dr. Christopher Marinangeli from Pulse Canada, Dr. Nathan Pelletier from the University of British Columbia, and Drs. James House, Cristina Rosell, and Mario Tenuta from the University of Manitoba, who will present their research covering the various dimensions of sustainability, from a health, environment, economic, and sociocultural perspective. We will also hear short presentations by researchers and students from various academic and research institutions, as well as from the industry (during breakout sessions).
The final day of the symposium will feature AIMday™ Circular Economy, where research experts will tackle questions submitted by industry through an exchange of knowledge and ideas focused on finding novel pathways to solutions.
